The schedule for this week will be as follows: Monday -- Quickwrite & discussion (handout below), overview of Research Project (handout can be downloaded below - 10.3 Research Project) Due: Write your research question for class tomorrow. Tuesday -- Rm. 223 Lab to locate and print three resources; bring to class tomorrow. Wednesday -- Meet in classroom. Using handout below (10.3 Research Notes) take notes on the articles you printed yesterday. Find as many ideas and details as you can that are related to your research question. Thursday -- Meet in Rm. 223 to locate and print more resources if necessary, or use your notes to begin creating your actual research project, which may be a PowerPoint, Prezi, or Glogster. Friday -- No School for Students =)
The unit test on A Raisin in the Sun will be this Friday, March 16. We will review in class the day before, on Thursday, March 15. Also, all work from Acts I, II, and III must be turned in on Thursday for full credit; work submitted after that date will be accepted, but for a late grade.

Over the next three days, we will be watching the 1961 film version of A Raisin in the Sun. These are not "free days;" the purpose of watching the film is to support and improve comprehension of the play, as well as to understand how the stage directions inform directors and actors how to perform to the playwright's specifications.
