In class today and tomorrow, we will be watching clips of the film "Men of Respect," which follows the plot of Macbeth very closely, except with a different setting. Take good notes! On Wednesday, you will use those notes to write an informal paper comparing/contrasting the film with the play. Due at the end of the hour Wednesday.

Yesterday we had a presentation from ITT about technology and the future of education and business. Today, we will read Act III, Scene 1 of Macbeth in class. Then you will read Scenes 2 and 3 on your own (they are very short) and the rest of the week looks like this:
Thursday 10/4 Finish Act III in class...homework: identify and explain 2 significant moments in Act III.
Friday 10/5 Update character map; identify and explain 2 significant moments in Act III.

Thursday 9/27 - watch Act I & II of Macbeth film (1971 Polanski version) in class; take notes comparing/contrasting book & movie
