Welcome to Mrs. McCready's English 12!Welcome to Senior year! English Language Arts in 12th grade will continue to implement the district instructional model and research-based best practices to teach the Common Core State Standards and to provide students integrated language arts study in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language in preparation for college and career readiness. Through guided instructional activities involving reading and writing, twelfth grade students will explore short stories, poetry, historical fiction, narrative, and informational text including speeches. They will apply the writing process to complete narratives, arguments, informational/explanatory essays, and both short and sustained research papers/projects.
